1-To procure material at most competitive prices and help reduce/ hold product cost so as to improve Profitability.
2-To maintain cost effective inventory with least lead time and without compromising production Schedule.
3-Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
4-Ensure that there is proper inventory management.
5-Ensure proper coordination with the production to ensure that production plans are met.
Other Responsibilities:-
1) Identification and new vendor development.
2) To send enquiry to the vendors as per requirement of materials.
3) Expedite quotations from the vendors.
4) Coordination with Plant for the requirement and delivery of Material.
5) Execution of orders.
6) Proper documentation & record keeping of purchase orders and related documents.
7) Follow up with suppliers for raw material.

material. Overseeing rate finalization for C class materials.
3-Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel /Tally ERP
4-PROGRESSIVE is seeking a MATERIAL [ Sourcing / Purchase] for the Chemical Raw Material
Effectively manages all aspects of the Supply Chain function for the Indirect Supply base for all
geographic regions.
5-This position requires a good working knowledge and understanding of above mentioned Indirect
Commodities, procurement and sourcing processes.
